Its not easy to be an Army Brat

It's not easy to be apart,
 It’s not easy to stop the racing heart,
It’s not easy to see your loved ones going to the wars,
 It’s not easy to switch on the TV and hear the news about losing your loved ones,
It’s not easy to pack all the stuff including happiness and pain, shifting again and again,
It’s not easy to keep shunting between place to place, school to school,
It’s not easy with tremendous pain in heart, to start your life’s new part,
It’s not easy to settle anywhere in the country, staying up from dusk to dawn, waking up at the first sight of morn,
It’s not easy thinking about the children at school, would you be an instant friend or a mocking fool,
It’s not easy to accept the fact that one year more, and you know there’s a definite move in store, it’s not easy to be an Army Brat

Defeated, you collapse on your knees, Tears rushing down your eyes, Thinking it’s the end, You let your ambitions bend, But once a legend said; failure is a bruise And not a tattoo, Don't treat it as a taboo, There's hope, there's scope, Get up; clean your scraped knees, Get that charm back in your eyes, Don't be afraid to fall again, Falling down gives you all the experiences to gain, Come on! Start over, don't disdain, There's hope, there's scope.

It's okay to fall down sometimes; To lament over the hard times, It's not a crime to cry, But never be afraid to try; To fight back again; Without thinking about loss or gain, Fight for thee goal you have to reach, Keep working, life has a lot to teach, Many obstacles will come your way Life may even begin to sway, But stop not just yet, Nothing can stop you; No rules are set, You are the mastermind of your game, This entire lifetime is your chance to make your name, Do what your heart loves, Don't let anyone else's hands in your gloves, Don't let anyone tarnish your shine, Faith doesn't only lie in  a shrine, So fight back again; Without worrying about loss or gain.
