Mental Peace

Mental peace, Struck apeice, Its not important they say, What's considered important, Is the ability to play, According to the worldly definition, Depresssion is just a 'phase', Physical stability is the chase, All you need to do, Is look alright on the outside, But what to do,  About the turmoil rioting inside? Anxiety doesn't seem as bad as being crippled? But what about the pressure on the mind, That gets trippled? There's more to being too skinny or fat, However these disorders are often overlooked, Just like that, One may have heard, Sound mind makes a sound body, But who cares about the mind? Apparently, nobody, Muscle strain, Is given priority over, Mental strain, One isn't more important than the other, Both are a reason of bother, Mental strength, Is as momentous as, Physical strength.

Long forgotten days

Those long forgotten days, Filled with rinning around and sun ablaze, Those sprints to the ice cream man; That slowly turned into a van, And all those innocent plays, Oh, those long forgotten days. Those scary stories, And the haunted house escapade glories, Times when there were damce competetions in the rain, There wasnt any complexity; All lucid and plain, oh, those long forgotten days. That craze about slime, Never giving a care about time; Forever glued to tom and jerry, Everyday was spent making merry, oh, those long forgotten days. Finding the repository of sweets; Often lead to ostentacious treats, Then there were fairies and santa, Teeth mostly tinted orange with fanta, Oh, those long forgotten days.

Living in a world that has never heard of wars, Looking at the clear azure; Full of shiny stars, No smoke that pollutes; The air and the mind of young recruits, No corrupt soul in sight, The future is bright, As there arre bright smiles, Positivity that radiates through miles, Far as your vision can go, There's only harmony and tranquility ; Egalitarianism applies for every fellow, Each action filled with gracility, And while this might seem like an ostentatious tale, It'd completely make sense if life was a fairytale.

Monsoon

Just a brief encounter with rain, Can throw your stiffness down the drain. Reminiscing all the childhood memories; Of dancing in the rain, Making merries; Sailing paperboats into the wild storm, While the youth prefers staying in their dorm; Reading their favourite classics, Or indulging in gaming graphics, Monsoon has come, Many try saving themselves by making a run, However some love feeling the rain; Their favourite antic being  muddy splash; Savouring the moments with a flash, Some love celebrating rain with fritters and tea, Or just love the taste of coffee, Sitting by the window pane, Watching the silver beads roll down; Enjoying the rain, The musicians love the song of rain, Listening to the soft pitter patter; Again and again, Some love getting cozy under the blankets, While artists find their muse; And make themselves busy with their pallates, Monsoon has come yet again Making many rejoice, Some just get wet in the rain; While many love feeli

Packing boxes full of memories, Some of sentiments, some of glories, The time has come, To find a new home, To go on adventures, To seek new ventures, To search for a new family, Someone to laugh and cry with, Someone to hug tightly, To decorate new walls, To get familiar with new halls, It's time to bid adieu, To start with all things new.

Things just don't happen; There are a series of events that Get baked together to make it happen, Whether it's the choices one makes, Or giving away whatever it takes, It's the power within you, To decide your life's hue, You are accountable for what you do, Whether noble or out of the blue, It's you and only you, All the way down, Your smile and frown, No one else to blame, You're the only master of your game

Window

There's a little panel for the world to peak in, A chance of mysteries and conspiracies to seep in, At times it shows classic walls of memories, While many scream a thousand untold stories, This little thing is someone's best friend, And a casemement through which many admire the outside world to no end, It has been picketed, shattered and what not, But has also shattered people by telling them things impossible in their thoughts, As clear as a mirror it may not be, But as interesting as an ancient wanderer's story it'll always be.

Exams

The atmosphere's tense, The competition is dense, It's all about the percentage, Regardless of the age, Bygone are those days; When exams were just a phase, Every sphere of a student's life is judged by its mugging up ability, Rather than the bright mind's logic or creativity, Knowledge is now measured by the capacity to mug up; How many books can one drink up, But not everyone can cope up, So many books wind one up, Students are loaded with so much of stress, As if their percentages would be there epitaphs.

Your Game

It's okay to fall down sometimes; To lament over the hard times, It's not a crime to cry, But never be afraid to try; To fight back again; Without thinking about loss or gain, Fight for thee goal you have to reach, Keep working, life has a lot to teach, Many obstacles will come your way Life may even begin to sway, But stop not just yet, Nothing can stop you; No rules are set, You are the mastermind of your game, This entire lifetime is your chance to make your name, Do what your heart loves, Don't let anyone else's hands in your gloves, Don't let anyone tarnish your shine, Faith doesn't only lie in  a shrine, So fight back again; Without worrying about loss or gain.

Night

The night is full of stars, And less of cars, However there's a special lot, Who loves travelling a lot, Maybe a wanderer, Or a curious gazer, Some like the night's eerie, Even when there's a lesser degree, While many search for answers to the mystery of life, Or simply love the calmness of a beehive, Some love ticking the time aloof, Or dancing in the dark like a goof, Many of them do dream, But only a few have the fulfilling gleam, Some find solace in words, And some stay awake weaving those words, Everyone's oblivious to what happens on the other side of midnight, Before its again broad daylight.
