The day I committed suicide

Image
The day I killed myself, I was no longer me. I didn't care anymore what ever people thought about me . I no longer felt the need to fulfil their whims and fancies. They said "you would never fit in" as if it was a sin. But it didn't matter anymore to the new me. After all if you are meant to stand out, you can't blend in. Now I could see the difference between right and wrong. They think I'm still weak, but I'm stronger than their imagination. I am not the same old me. The day I committed suicide I promised myself to never be the old me, to always follow what's right to me. I'm not the same old me. copyright content, copying of content is legally punishable, however copying or publishing of the content can be done only through permission

Ceiling

Image
Painted white with a blank face, watching people walking through subways, discussing the ways of Hemingway. I contain so many secrets, so many sorrows, so many people wishing for a thousand tomorrows. Watching people praying for peace, I join them with ease. Smokey rooms covered with patches of blacks and blues, I've seen those burning shoes. Another cold night covered in dew, people wrapped in blankets watching the taming of the shrew. The house is booming with music, the master's back and the dog happily plays with his chewstick. Old momma is baking cake for her son Smith, he'll be back home when the clock strikes six. Those children in the classroom passing chits, promising each other to share their chips. The little girl gulping down the milk, in hopes of getting that new cadbury silk. I watch all these astonishing scenes everyday, they contain all the love and affection but there is noe for me for I'm just a ceiling.

Let me

Let me laugh, let me cry Let me explore, let me try things may go wrong but it will build my experience sharp and strong. Let me dream swimming in the deadliest stream. Let swing as if I have the fairy's wings. Let me aspire finding myself a blue sapphire. Please just let me who I am and who I want to be, for my dreams are big and goals are high, even higher than the mighty sky.

Rattling

"The hateful rattling would soon come to an end",  Prayed the tiniest thought at the back of my mind,  But unfortunately it didn't. People kept on bickering,  Life counts kept on decreasing. There was confusion, chaos,  And chickened bodies everywhere, Riots were the worst  Part of a society; For people exploited themselves and their rights, Someone's health and someone's wife, Innocence kept at stake, The entire country is in a bad shape. Fumes of anger and burning buildings Too adamant to cool down, It was the fight for their own clan; Their town, Quick-paced thumping, Shining sweat beads and a dozen gunshots, Nothing was able to bring it to a halt. This is what happens when  A riot bolts down the delicate lanes of a nation.

The book fete

Image
Hustling and fighting through the crowd, to get the desired one. "Where is it"? Are the words that escape from your lips. A frown settles on your face, going insane finding that one you need. Shuffling through each row, each section of the store, Thud! One of them fell on the floor, Giving everyone an apologetic smile, you pick it up and put it back on the pile. "Giving one last try wouldn't do any harm" you talk to yourself; making the lady next to you chuckle. After searching so much you give up, disappointed as you make way to the exit you see a shiny cover, with colorful eye-catching flowers,"yes" you shriek! You found the one you need, happily as you make your way to checkout, thinking about your mood few moments ago, and lo! Life is definitely an irony. You push away your thoughts and move due to the anger of the old grumpy man standing out, after all everyone wants to enjoy the book fete rather than just a random mall.

The thesis of life

The thesis of life is not written just yet, it has to be imagined, plotted, edited and then finally written, but there is a lot to create and discover before it's finished.

Future

What do I do?  I'll do what I want to, Something my mind does not know But my heart does, Something I may not have an idea about, But it's not illusionary, It is not cascading with success, But it isn't failing either. It's just like an ant, Trying its best to Climb the pinnacle of success, It may fall down, But it doesn't die, It's my 'future'.
